Hi, I'm Marcus, a PhD student in the Industrial & Computational Mathematics PhD Program at Morgan State University. My research is in the area of Lie superalgebras and representation theory, specifically the intersection of Lie superalgebras of superderivations, reduction algebra techniques, and genetics of associative superalgebras.
My doctoral training is supported by NSF Grant DMS-2503008, Excellence in Research: Super Representation Theory, Quantum Spaces, and Algebra Maps. Thus I'm a member of The SuperSpace, led by Principal Investigator Dwight Anderson Williams II, who co-advises me along with Asamoah Nkwanta.

My dissertation topic considers superderivations and the reduction problem. Reduction algebras describe how a module over a Lie algebra breaks apart over a subalgebra; my work carries this into the super setting, computing generators and relations for the reduction superalgebras. My first main result handles isotropic roots within the case of decomposing modules over $\mathfrak{osp}(2|2)$, which is isomorphic to $\mathfrak{vect}(0|2)$, as $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2)$-modules.
In progress: "Corank-one orthosymplectic reduction superalgebras."
